David Anstis began building homes in the late 1980's on an Island near Seattle, Washington. In 1994 he returned home to New Zealand and settled in Titirangi where he has built dozens of homes with his company Eco Construct.
Right from when David first started building in the USA his focus has been on caring for the environment and creating healthy homes. "We were considered 'tree hugging hippies' back in the 80's", states David, "but now we are at the forefront of a world wide movement toward sustainable living.' David has a Bachelors Degree in Horticultural Science, has been a Registered Master Builder, and is now a Licensed Building Practitioner.
